Mbulelo Bikwani

Mbulelo specializes in human resources and organizational transformation.

Mbulelo Bikwani is the Founding CEO of Zakithi Management Consulting. He is a law graduate from the University of the Western Cape (UWC) who, before embarking on his legal studies, began his career working at Groote Schuur Hospital as a Messenger and later a Pharmacist Assistant. After graduating, he founded the Health Workers Union and was its Vice – Chairman.

Highly concerned with employees’ rights, Mbulelo has contributed significantly to the establishment of many trade unions including the Performing Arts’ Workers Equity (PAWE) in the Western Cape, the Staff Association for the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA). He is the interim President of the National Association for the Advancement of Professionals (NAAP).

Mbulelo was HR: Director and General Manager: Ambius at Rentokil Initial South Africa for over a decade and was responsible for the company’s Human Resources positioning and Transformation process. He was also responsible for setting up a number of programmes within Rentokil including an HIV/AIDS trust called Zenzeleni of which he is still Chairman.

Mbulelo has been highly involved in a number of businesses and organizations including Vukani Auctions, Keymix Investments, UWC, Epilepsy SA, V & A Waterfront and the Black Management Forum. He has consulted for a number of companies and organizations including Robben Island Museum, PetroSA, Cape Technikon, Metrorail, Cape Town Child Welfare, Disabled People South Africa, Totalgaz, UCT, and Rentokil.

He is founder of Interdenominational Community Development Forum, a Christian based organization to assist communities in dealing with challenges they face including but not limited to Crime, youth development, HIV/AIDS etc.
