Roger mentors and coaches senior executives across Southern Africa in a wide range of industries. He has served as a director and chairman of private companies both locally and internationally, as well as a director of a listed South African company. Before reaching mandatory retirement from the latter, he chaired the Risk Committee and served on the Audit Committee.
He is currently the chairman of a large professional services company and has advised private companies and NPOs on governance. He also lectures on Governance and Ethics at USB-ED. He holds a Diploma in Company Direction and is a former Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
His interests include a combined value and values based approach to the stewardship of businesses, as well as strategy, practical philosophy, and systems thinking applied to complex organisational challenges.
